My research activities started in 1999 at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina in the LIFIA research laboratory where I focused on the Computer Supported CooperativeWork (CSCW) research field. I got the degree in Computer Science at the UNLP in 2005.
In 2006, I moved to Albacete, Spain where my research was centered on the “Pattern-driven development of E-Learning systems” at the LoUISE research laboratory in the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics (I3A). Consequently, I got the Diploma of Advanced Stidies (DEA) at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) in 2007 . I got the Master in Web Technologies (MTW) and the Master in Advanced Technolgies (MSc) also at UCLM in 2008. Then, I moved my research interests to the “Model-driven development of of context-aware applications for ubiquitous computing environments” which was the subject of study of my PhD thesis. Finally, in 2009 I got the PhD Degree at the UCLM .
After I got the PhD in Computer Sciece, I performed 2 six months periods of post-docs (2010 and 2011) at the Université catholique de Louvain in Louvain-La Neuve, Belgum with Prof. Dr. Jean Vanderdonckt at the Belgium Laboratory of Computer-Human Interaction where I developed research activities in Model-driven development of multi-model context-aware user interfaces.
In 2011, I joined to the ISE Research group at the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics (I3A) in Albacete, Spain. The actual research line I am following is the “Model-driven development of multi-modal context-aware user interfaces” and the use, modeling and development of “Distributed User Interfaces”.
Regarding my teaching activities, I was hired by the UCLM as Adjunt Professor N2 (MSc required) at the Computing Systems Department in 2008. In 2009 I was promoted to Adjunt Professor N3 (PhD required) and in 2010 I was promoted to Assistant Professor (full-time, tenured). In 2013 I got the acreditation to promote to Associate Professor.
